Sat. S.J. boys' and girls' roundup: Eastern succeeds in OT

Sarah Kane scored in overtime as the Eastern girls' soccer team improved to 4-0 with a 2-1 victory over Bishop Eustace on Saturday.

Kane scored off an assist from freshman Jaclyn Thompson with 2 minutes, 28 seconds remaining in extra time.

Bishop Eustace had tied the score, 1-1, in the second half on a header from Elise Sullivan.

Eastern had struck first when Katie Beluch scored her first varsity goal.

Holy Cross was led by Erica Wallace's two goals as it defeated Pemberton, 5-0.

Julieanne Gee, Grace Johannes, and Clare McAdams also scored goals for the Lancers.

Goalkeeper Cassy Skelton had three saves in her shutout performance.

Taylor Sehdev recorded her fourth straight shutout as Haddonfield defeated Haddon Heights, 3-0.

Sehdev, who hasn't allowed a goal all season, stopped seven Haddon Heights shots.

Emily Carson, Abby Cierniecki, and Olivia Blaber scored for Haddonfield.

Boys' Soccer

 Clearview's Alex Ganci scored in the second half as the Pioneers shut out Rancocas Valley, 1-0.

Clearview senior goaltender Kyle Alpaugh made nine saves to record the shutout.

Pat Duffy made six saves for Holy Cross on the way to a 3-0 victory over Pemberton.

Dan Schmid opened the scoring in the 15th minute with an unassisted goal. Luke Gentile scored in the 53d minute off a throw-in, and Jon Mackie finished the scoring with a goal in the 67th minute.

Lou Vilotti and Tyler Logar each scored a pair of goals as Washington Township defeated Paul VI, 6-0.

Burak Ozdemir added a goal and three assists for the Minutemen.

Joe Lubonski had four saves to record the shutout.

Goaltender Nick Marcondi stopped nine of the 10 shots he faced as Lenape defeated Seneca, 3-1.

Bobby Hermann scored two goals for the Indians, and Jason Clapper added one.

Nick Lesaint had Seneca's goal. Ryan Oyola stopped seven shots for the Golden Eagles.

Field Hockey

Karlee Spirit scored with 42 seconds remaining as Eastern won a thriller over Penn Manor, 5-4.

Spirit scored off a scramble in front of the net after a corner kick.

Carly Celkos, who scored two goals, tied the game with 6:42 remaining in regulation.

Emily McCoy and Eryn McCoy each scored two goals for Penn Manor.

Eastern improved to 5-0.

Williamstown defeated Highland, 6-0, with a pair of goals from both Deborah Adebowale and Michaela Stephens.

Gloria Adebowale and Allie Trimble also scored for the Braves.

Sydney Hinnegan kept the net empty, compiling five saves in the shutout.
