HAWLEY, Pa. - A Bucks County man who police say was naked and bloody when he attacked a woman and bit her head is out on bail on assault and related charges.
Court records indicate that $100,000 bail was posted Monday for Richard Cimino Jr., 20, of Doylestown, who was being held in the Wayne County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing was set for next Wednesday.
Cimino had been arraigned on the charges Sunday after being discharged from a hospital. Investigators allege that he stripped down and broke into an empty home in Hawley, then was badly hurt jumping from a window but still attacked a woman walking down the street. The woman and her companion escaped, and Cimino was found lying in the road, covered in blood, police said. - AP
