Twenty children were taken to a hospital following a crash this morning between a school bus and a car in Northeast Philadelphia.
Medics reported no serious injuries and officials said the students from the Sankofa Freedom Academy charter school were transported to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children as a precaution, as is school district procedure.
Police said the bus rear ended a car about 8:20 a.m. at Roosevelt Boulevard and Adams Avenue. Neither driver was hurt, police said.
