Valle, a junior, finished a nice pass from Scott Gillman for the goal.
Nelson Jerez beat a few defenders later in the half to score on a breakaway. Corey Brodkin posted his second shutout with 10 saves.
Matt DiPatri had eight saves for the visitors.
Chris Brandy had two assists and Dan Walsh scored twice as Cherry Hill West raced past visiting Winslow Township, 4-0.
Conor McFadden and Michael Clauss chipped in with goals, and Sean Mullarkey needed two saves for the shutout.
Michael Gerst and Stephen Meixner scored once each as visiting Lenape slipped past Washington Township, 2-1, in overtime.
Tim Ciapetta posted the win with 12 saves. Eric Jordan scored for Washington Township, and James Jackson recorded three saves.
Cape-Atlantic. Elijah Broadnax scored twice and recorded three assists as Middle Township blanked Atlantic County Tech, 5-0.
Jacob Cowen contributed a goal and two assists. Tanner Kerr and Steven Hand split time in net and combined for three saves.
Millville scored once in each half to defeat host Vineland, 2-0. Austin Higbee and Terron Mitchell scored once each, and Rico Rivera added an assist.
Nonleague. On a day that the schools' girls' teams combined for a 0-0 deadlock, Shawnee and Cherokee played to a scoreless tie at Cherokee despite two overtimes.
Anthony Cutillo made 14 saves for Cherokee, and Tyler Caton had 21 for Shawnee.
