St. Joseph's Prep combo guard Miles Overton orally committed to Wake Forest Sunday after visiting the school over the weekend. Overton had scholarship offers from St. Joseph's, Seton Hall, Drexel, La Salle, and San Francisco, among others.
But Wake's coach Jeff Bzdelik came to a practice in February in a time period when Rutgers, Maryland and St. John's began to express interest in the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder.
His father, Doug, played at La Salle and had an 11-year NBA career, including playing for the Sixers.
