Chester man is charged in fatal shooting

A Chester man was arrested late Monday by police and U.S. marshals and charged in a fatal shooting early Friday outside a bar in the Delaware County city, authorities said Tuesday. DeVante Moore, 21, of the 700 block of Pusey Street, allegedly shot and killed Turhaan Martin, 38, also of Chester, outside Ginn's Bar at Second and Kerlin Streets. Police said an argument that began inside the bar spilled outside and gunfire erupted. Martin was shot once in the chest. He was pronounced dead at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
