Sobriety checkpoints this weekend in Radnor

Delaware County police will be out searching for impaired drivers this weekend, police announced.

The county's northern DUI Task Force, will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Radnor Township.

Since September 2009, the northern Task Force, which comprises Haverford, Marple, Newtown Square, Radnor,Springfield and Upper Darby Townships, has conducted 33 checkpoints and has arrested 71 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, issued 26 citations for underage drinking, 427 citations and 462 warnings for other motor vehicle violations, police said.
