Six girls and women between the ages of 15 and 19 were charged Friday for their involvement in the savage beating of a 48-year-old mentally disabled woman in Chester on Tuesday night.

Anye Dennis, 16, Rahmiiyah Henderson, 16, Jamia Davis, 15 and Janyea Bell, 16, were arraigned Friday and are being held in the Delaware County Prison on $50,000 bail each, police said. They're scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1, according to court documents.

Jasmir Womack, 17, and Takie Edwards, 19, were taken into custody Friday afternoon. They're also scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1, according to court documents.

The teens allegedly attacked the woman as she sat outside her house on 12th and Morton streets in Chester's Sun Village neighborhood. When she tried running inside of her house, the girls followed her and continued beating her in the living room.

The teens used a cellphone to record themselves attacking the woman and posted the footage to Facebook.

They face charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and burglary.
