Philadelphia Police are investigating a Facebook page that appears to be threatening Lt. Jonathan Josey, the officer put on desk duty this week after a video surfaced of him punching a woman in the face after the city's annual Puerto Rican day parade.

The page, titled "Get the DROP on Officer LT Jonathan Josey, 39," was created Tuesday and has been "liked" by 10 people.

One post made Tuesday says: "The old testament states that pork is impure. Since the pigs are walking amongst us, it is our duty to smite them with the almighty power of the 50 cal sniper rifle. So sayeth the lord."

In another, the creator of the page promises to post Josey's home address and the license plates of his car, with the statement, "AS A CHRISTIAN THE BIBLE SAYS THOUGH SHALT NOT KILL BUT THAT OPEN FOR DEBATE".

Another post says, "I URGE PHILLY'S GANGS TO FORGET THERE DIFFERENCES AND UNITE AGAINST THE COPS OF PHILLY AS IT WILL BE MORE PROFITABLE IN THE LONG RUN".

The creator of the page also linked to another Facebook page, entitled "Kill Mayor Nutter in the Name of God."

Last month, police arrested blogger Joshua Scott Albert for creating a Facebook page in support of the two alleged killers of Police Officer Moses Walker. In one comment, the 26-year-old Albert wrote, "What's better than one dead cop? ..................... Two".

Albert also created a page calling for the killing of John McNesby, president of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #5.

He was charged with three counts each of criminal solicitation to commit murder, making terroristic threats and harassment. According to court records, he remains jailed in lieu of bail set at $300,000.
