Thurs. S.J. girls' roundup: Clearview rallies past GCIT

Trailing at halftime, Clearview turned to Katherine Camp to move past visiting GCIT, 4-2, in a Tri-County Conference girls' soccer game on Thursday.

With her team facing a 1-0 deficit, Camp found the net twice in the second half to rally the Pioneers.

Shannon Puthe played strong, notching a goal and an assist in the win.

Also in the Tri-County:

Tori Smick continued her stellar play with her second hat trick of the week as host Woodstown blanked Deptford, 4-0.

Smick also assisted on Kelly O'Kane's goal, and Fallon Secaur needed just one save to earn her fourth shutout of the season.

Pitman's Danielle Aydelotte made 12 saves to stymie visiting Wildwood, 5-0. Rebecca Williams had three goals and an assist in the win.

Chelsea Abhau netted three goals to lead Pennsville to a 7-0 home win over Gloucester. The Eagles improved to 9-2 this season.

Olympic. Madison Tiernan recorded a hat trick as Eastern rolled, 6-0, at Winslow Township.

Imani Taylor made three saves to secure the shutout, and the Vikings remained undefeated at 12-0.

Colonial. Gateway's MacKell Schultes finally found the net with 12 minutes remaining to lift the host Gators to a 1-0 win over Woodbury.

Janelle Orsino handled two shots in the shutout.

Haddonfield's Olivia Blaber tied the game with a penalty kick midway through the second half, and the score remained that way through two overtimes as the Bulldogs played to a 1-1 draw at Haddon Heights.

Burlington County. Gina Tricocci scored in the second half as Rancocas Valley shut out visiting Moorestown, 1-0.

Carylon Eckerle and Morgan Morrocco paced Holy Cross with two goals each en route to a 5-1 win at Maple Shade.

For Morrocco, a freshman midfielder, it was the first multi-goal game of her career.

Cape-Atlantic. St. Joseph held host Wildwood Catholic scoreless in a 7-0 romp.

Shannon Metzler recorded a hat trick and Shannon Nilson added two goals in the second half.

Nonleague. Two goals from Megan Goodspeed were enough as host Florence blanked Life Center, 4-0. Erica Bruno and Devan Ross also scored.

Field Hockey

Senior Sarah Ferry scored twice in the second half to pace Gloucester in a 3-0 home win over Pennsville in a Tri-County Conference game.

Carly DeMarco made three saves en route to her 10th career shutout.

Elsewhere in the Tri-County:

Rachael Toppi scored in the first half as Glassboro won, 1-0, at Gloucester Catholic.

Kingsway won, 4-0, at Williamstown with all goals coming in the first half.
