THE STEELERS don't lose at home, and they absolutely don't lose at home to NFC teams. But nothing lasts forever, as Phillies fans found out this season. Some of the Pittsburgh defensive stalwarts aren't getting younger, quicker or healthier. Half a decade ago, the top teams in the AFC clearly were better than the top teams in the NFC. Not sure that's the case anymore.
The Eagles' offense took an important step forward when it didn't turn the ball over against the Giants. Now it needs to solidify that gain, and add some efficiency to the formula, scoring touchdowns instead of field goals. Haven't seen enough yet to count on that happening in a tough venue like Heinz Field.
