A man was shot and killed on Market Street in West Philadelphia early today, police said.
Officers responding to call for a man with a gun found the victim on the sidewalk at 61st Street about 1:40 a.m., police said. He had been shot in the back.
The man, who appeared to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:54 a.m., police said.
Investigators are looking for witnesses.
