Tuesday deadline to register to vote in November

The clock is ticking for wannabe voters - Tuesday is the deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania.

If you've been a United States citizen for at least 30 days, a Pennsylvania resident for a month and will be 18 by Election Day on Nov. 6, you're eligible. So how can you get in on the action?

You can mail in an application, which are available at libraries, liquor stores, post offices or online ( www.phillyelection.com). Send them to the Voter Registration Office, Riverview Place, 5th Floor, 520 N. Delaware Ave., Philadelphia PA, 19123.

You can head down to the city's voter registration office at 520 N. Delaware Avenue. According to the City Commissioners' website, the office will be open until midnight.

You can also register at a variety of state offices for seniors and people with special needs. For a full list check www.phillyelection.com or www.seventy.org.
