NEWARK, Del. - Newark police say the University of Delaware is offering a $10,000 reward for locating a retired professor who has been missing for weeks.
Officer say John Dohms suffers from dementia and was reported missing Sept. 13. He was last seen walking north into White Clay Creek State Park. Police say Dohms may have a set of binoculars and wears a MedicAlert bracelet.
Police say they do not suspect foul play in Dohms' disappearance. Authorities are urging residents to check their sheds, outbuildings, and cars; under decks; and other places of shelter.
