A 29-year-old Philadelphia man was killed in a shooting Tuesday night in Pleasantville, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities say the man, who has not been publicly identified, was shot about 9 p.m. on the 900 block of West Ashland Avenue.
Pleasantville police found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. His body was found in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The prosecutor's office said it is withholding the victim's name until relatives are notified.
