Todt said he plans to spend more time as a "Pop-Pop" and traveling with his wife, but was clear that Archbishop Ryan will always be a special place to him.
"I've put together a lifetime of soccer at Ryan," Todt said. "I've given my life to my school, and the Catholic League. It has been an honor to help develop the league over these 44 years with a handful of other coaches."
Todt's last Catholic League title came in 2003.
Earlier Thursday, Todt's Raiders lost, 1-0, to host St. Joseph's Prep. Colin McGlynn converted a penalty kick for the Hawks in the 78th minute.
