Sideshow: Inking the rest of the quote

In a prolix act of devotion, actor Liam Hemsworth ( Expendables 2) has chosen to ink a biceps with part of the same lofty - if obscure - speech that already adorns the forearm of his fiancée, Miley Cyrus.

The now close-cropped Cyrus is tattooed with text from a speech President Theodore Roosevelt gave at the Sorbonne in France in 1910.

Miley's inspirational lettering reads: "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."

Man, you have to sacrifice a lot of skin surface for a quote like that.

Hemsworth has now etched the preceding line from the speech on the interior of his biceps: "If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly."

The Fresh cousin weds

Sitcom star and acclaimed dancer Alfonso Ribeiro wed fiancée Angela Unkrich over the weekend in California.

It's the second marriage for the Bronx-born Ribeiro, best known for his role as Will Smith's stiff and snooty cousin Carlton on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The actor honed his sitcom chops even earlier opposite Ricky Schroder on the hit Silver Spoons.

Ribeiro's gawky "Carlton Dance" became something of a sensation in the days before YouTube made such things commonplace.

But it was a Pepsi commercial in 1984 that first brought the young entertainer attention. He played a kid on the sidewalk doing an incredible Michael Jackson imitation - moonwalk and all - when the Jackson 5 strolled by.

So going to the chapel? No pressure.

Busy weekend for Hollywood

Taken 2 remained atop the box office with $22.5 million, nudging out Ben Affleck's Argo, which bowed with an encouraging $20.1 million in ticket sales.

The real winner, though, was Sinister, a low-budget horror thriller with Ethan Hawke. It grossed $18.2 million out of the box, not bad for a film that cost $3 million to produce.

Hollywood is in a celebratory mood. Box office is up 40 percent over the comparable weekend in 2011.
