December sentencing set for 'Jihad Jane'

A Montgomery County woman who called herself "Jihad Jane" and admitted she plotted to kill a Swedish artist who offended a number of Muslims faces a life sentence in December, prosecutors said Monday. Colleen LaRose, 48, of Pennsburg, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to murder a foreign target and support terrorists and lying to the FBI. The murder plot was not carried out. Prosecutors said LaRose's sentencing would be Dec. 19 in Philadelphia. - AP
