Thurs. S.J. boys' roundup: DiPrinzio lifts Audubon

Drew DiPrinzio's overtime goal Thursday gave Audubon a 2-1 victory at Collingswood in a Colonial Conference boys' soccer match.

DiPrinzio kicked the ball from the corner, skimming it off the crossbar and into the net.

Wayne Test made two saves to earn his first varsity victory.

DiPrinzio helped the Green Wave tie the score in the second half, when he set up Bob Tegan for a goal.

Elsewhere in Colonial Conference play:

Nick Miller tallied his first two goals of the season, and Woodbury dropped visiting Overbrook, 3-1.

Anthony Colofranson scored three times for Gateway, leading the Gators to a 3-1 win over visiting Haddon Heights and enabling them to clinch the Colonial Patriot title.

Colofranson, who scored his second goal on a penalty kick, leads all New Jersey boys with 45 goals this season.

Burlington County Liberty. David Cohen scored from 18 yards 33 minutes into the first half in Northern Burlington's 1-0 victory at Cinnaminson.

Zach Nixon made four stops to earn the shutout.

Tri-County Royal. Clearview scored five unanswered goals in the second half and blew out visiting Cumberland, 6-1.

John Bechta finished with a hat trick, and Alex Ganci picked up a pair of goals.

Nonleague. Akwasi Adu scored two goals, and Atlantic City struck for four second-half scores in a 5-0 victory at Pleasantville. Adu also picked up an assist, and he scored one of his goals on a penalty kick.

John Riggs earned an 11-save shutout, and Trenton Catholic topped Maple Shade, 2-0. Simeon Donzon and Fomba Tulay scored for the Iron Mikes.

Joey Fiore notched two goals and an assist for Williamstown, which shut out host Schalick, 3-0. Fiore also received an assist when he set up Ricky McCabe for a goal.
