DREXEL'S FIRST basketball recruit making an oral commitment for the 2013-14 season is Mohamed Bah, a 6-9 senior forward at Lee Academy in Maine.
Bah, from the republic of Mali in West Africa via Quincy, Mass., is described by online recruiting services as "a finisher with explosiveness around the rim." He also is a shot blocker "who runs the floor well."
Reports indicate Bah is still developing offensively.
One service says Drexel landed Bah before many Division I schools knew about him. Bah also visited Towson and Fairfield.
