Sat. Pa. football roundup: West Catholic rocks N-G

Greg White outproduced Neumann-Goretti's offense Saturday in West Catholic's 42-0 victory at Southern in a Catholic League AA matchup.

White carried the football 17 times for 163 yards and five touchdowns and picked up a two-point conversion. The Burrs defense held Neumann-Goretti to 89 yards. White scored four times in the first half.

Ron Womack, who also caught a two-point conversion pass, and Brendan Slade had interceptions.

Suburban One American

Plymouth Whitemarsh 28, Norristown 0 - Pete Georgio opened the scoring and capped it with two TD runs for visiting Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Terry Brown added a 52-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Del-Val

Glen Mills 35, Chester 0 - Jay're Jackson caught two TD passes from Dontae Coates to help Glen Mills open a 35-point halftime lead at Chester. Jackson had scores of 20 and 45 yards and Coates added a 2-yard TD run in the second quarter.

Interboro 43, Penn Wood 6 - Sonny Armstrong and Warren Allen each ran for two TDs in Interboro's road win.

Armstrong finished with 65 yards, and Nick Rentos threw for 122 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown in the second quarter, in the win.

Ches-Mont National

Bishop Shanahan 27, West Chester East 0 - Justin Cook threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns, and Bishop Shanahan shut out visiting West Chester East.

Cook's top target was Jeff Zebrowski, who caught six passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.

Ches-Mont American

West Chester Rustin 48, Oxford 0 - Adam Burke scored three times and West Chester Rustin blew out visiting Oxford.

After Burke scored on a 1-yard plunge in the second quarter, he broke off a pair of long touchdowns. He found the end zone on a 46-yard scamper to put Rustin up by 28-0 at halftime, and then took a pass 68 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter.

Bicentennial

Bristol 14, Lower Moreland 0 - Kieran Greenfield and Willie Sutton ran for touchdowns in the first half, and Bristol held on for the road win.

Public AAAA Gold

Central 36, Germantown 26 - Hakeem Ellis scored on both sides of the ball to help Central win on the road. Ellis ran for an 11-yard touchdown to open the scoring and returned an interception 50 yards in the third quarter.

Public AAA

Mastery Charter 18, Bok 8 - James Johnson and Malik Williams connected on two TD strikes to push Mastery Charter past Bok at Southern. Johnson threw for 173 yards and Jermaine Norris finished with 102 yards receiving and an interception and a fumble recovery.

Nonleague

Archbishop Ryan 34, Lansdale Catholic 7 - After Lansdale Catholic opened the scoring, Archbishop Ryan ripped off 34 unanswered points at Washington.

Mark Ostaszewski threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns and adding a 1-yard TD run.

Bobby Romano paced the Raiders' receivers with four catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.
