These are among the closings reported for Tuesday as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

SEPTA bus, trolley, subway, and Regional Rail service (at least through the morning). Rail service will remain disrupted; other services will be assessed later in the day.

PATCO High-Speed Line (at least through the morning rush hour).

All Amtrak Acela Express, Northeast Regional, Keystone and Shuttle trains serving the Northeast Corridor.

US Airways flights.

Philadelphia public and parochial schools.

Most suburban public and private schools.

All major colleges and universities.

Art Institute of Philadelphia.

The Gallery at Market East. (Other malls could reopen later in the day.)

Philadelphia Housing Authority.

Philadelphia trash collection.

Philadelphia courts.

Philadelphia government offices.

Most state and county offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. (Among the exceptions is the Delaware County Election Bureau, which is remaining open Tuesday to accommodate those filing absentee ballot applications due by 5 p.m. Tuesday.)

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia.

PennDot driver and photo-license centers.

Independence Visitor Center.

National Constitution Center.

Fairmount Park Welcome Center.

City Hall Visitor Center.

Sister Cities Park Visitor Center.

Camden County libraries.

Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Wall Street and the financial markets.
