An elderly couple died in a fire that tore through their single family home in Willingboro, Burlington County, this morning, according to law enforcement.
The blaze broke out in a two-story home on the unit block of Millbrook Dr. about 6 a.m. and the couple was trapped inside. Power was out in the neighborhood at the time because of Hurricane Sandy.
The couple's identity was not immediately released. Several media reports say the couple might have been using a generator for power.
