Sellers Dorsey, a national health-care consulting firm based in Philadelphia, said Harvey Hurdle has been promoted to chief executive officer from chief operating officer. He replaces Martin Sellers, Dorsey's founder and chief executive officer, who will now serve as chairman.

Comcast Cable, Trevose, hired John Titus as area vice president of operations for the northern suburbs of Pennsylvania and parts of north and central New Jersey. Titus, a Navy captain with more than 20 years' service, most recently was director of operations, supply-chain business systems, for the Navy Weapon Systems Support Command.

  Laura Johnson has been hired as project manager for the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. She was communications manager with Public/Private Ventures in Philadelphia.

American Asphalt Co., West Collingswood, promoted Dave Sulkin from director of business development to vice president of sales and marketing.


  Villanova Law School hired Bayrex Martí as executive director of the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid. Martí had been associate director of admissions and director of recruitment at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

  Glenmede, a privately held investment and wealth-management firm in Philadelphia, hired Michael A. James as director of Family Wealth Advisory. James had served as a wealth strategist in Goldman Sachs' Mid-Atlantic Region.

Symphony Health Solutions, a Horsham company owned by Palo Alto-based strategic-equity firm Symphony Technology Group, hired Don Otterbein as senior vice president, marketing and product management, and Jeff Cottle as senior vice president and chief people officer. Otterbein had been vice president, life sciences, at Cognizant Technology Solutions. Cottle had been vice president, human-resources operations, at SunGard's Financial Systems Division.


Pennoni Associates, a Philadelphia engineering, design, and consulting firm, hired Andrew Katz as marketing manager for the firm's Intelligent Infrastructure Systems division. He previously served as director of marketing for O'Donnell & Naccarato.

   Mercy Health System, Conshohocken, hired Yvonne S. Diaz as ambulatory service line director. Diaz had been vice president of physician ventures at Baptist Health South Florida.

Victor J. Navarro, a recognized specialist in liver disease and transplants, joined Einstein Healthcare Network as chair, division of hepatology. He had been medical director of the hepatology and liver-transplantation program at Thomas Jefferson University, program director of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship, and director of the Jefferson Liver Tumor Center.

Haverford Trust Co., Radnor, a private wealth-management firm, hired Anne E. Bartolomeo as marketing communications manager. Bartolomeo had been vice president and director of marketing and communications of the Wealth Management Division at Bryn Mawr Trust Co.

Dawn Grasso has been named chief nursing officer at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in West Philadelphia. She recently served as associate chief nursing officer for clinical operations at Temple University Hospital.

          Firstrust Bank, Conshohocken, said Mike Han and Carl Bieber have been hired in the commercial banking team as vice president/relationship manager and business development officer of the Small Business Administration unit, respectively. Han had been vice president at MoreBank. Bieber was the lead lender for the SBA Lending Program at Customers Bank.
