With her varied dating experience ( Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal) and her penchant for mining her breakups for songs, Taylor Swift is verily an expert. Dating, she tells Harper's Bazaar, demands equality.

"If I feel too much like I'm wearing the pants, I . . . feel uncomfortable and then we break up," Swift, 22 says. "It's wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions."

Does beau Conor Kennedy, 18, wear slacks? In an odd omission, he's not mentioned once.

Sartorially speaking, Swift isn't a pants person.

"There's just something so feminine about a dress," she says. But they pose a dilemma: "I can't wear a dress twice or else it's pointed out in magazines. . . . So unfortunately I have to shop for dresses all the time."

Selena Gomez still a Belieber?

The globe continues to tremor and whimper in the wake of the Justin Bieber- Selena Gomez breakup news Friday night, which sparked a Collective Teenage Heartbreak measuring 9.5 on the Richter scale. ( Gaia can't stop sobbing.) There are claims we won't be mourning for long. TMZ cites Anonymous Sources who say this is just a temporary glitch in an otherwise committed love affair. Life & Style Weekly says JustGo met up on Sunday at Selena's New York hotel. Another Unnamed Eyewitness says Justin entered the hotel at 5:40 p.m. and did not emerge until 11 p.m. (Right, but he didn't spend the night, yo.)

Was it a reconciliation? Or were they, like, discussing who gets custody of the goldfish and the hamster?

People mag isn't so optimistic, saying the breakup has been confirmed by Unnamed Source. JustGo, the source says, were apart so much of the time ( busy, busy, busy entertainment professionals they are), it began tearing asunder their once-intertwined souls.

The crisis reportedly has dogged them since the summer. Finally, last week they decided to call it a day.

"It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end," Source says.

Mourning JustGo: Justin's reply

The Biebster sounded annoyed Saturday night when asked about the breakup on the syndicated Open House Party radio show.

"I don't know what to say," he said, sounding annoyed, according to the New York Post. "I don't know what's going on in my life. To even assess that, it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment." Um . . . whaaat?

Mourning JustGo: The Oprah chat

As if the breakup weren't bad enough, JustGo and their fans will be subjected on Thanksgiving Day to an interview Justin taped with Oprah before he and Selena split up. Justin heaps love and praise on his now-ex-gal. He says unlike many guy celebs, he doesn't play at being a single guy at public events.

"I never make her separate from me, because I don't want her to feel like I'm ashamed of her," he said in the interview, set to air Nov. 25 on OWN.

"I feel like a lot of guys do that . . . . They don't want to be seen with the girl, and make them ride in separate cars."

Elmo actor accused of misconduct

Puppeteer Kevin Clash, who plays beloved Sesame Street character Elmo, is taking a leave of absence from the show following accusations by a 23-year-old man that he had a sexual relationship with the performer when he was 16.

Clash admitted in a statement there was a relationship, but only after the accuser had turned 18. "I am deeply saddened that he is trying to characterize it as something other than what it was," said Clash.

An investigation by Sesame Workshop has concluded that the allegations are unsubstantiated. But it said Clash exercised "poor judgment."

50 Cent makes $177K in 9 minutes

50 Cent dropped in at QVC in West Chester Saturday to sell his STREET brand wireless over-the-ear headphones.

The marketing ploy appeared to work: After flirting with QVC's on-air hosts, including Lisa Robertson, Fiddy tweeted, "I just made $177,000 dollars in 9min on QVC. Can someone hate on me so i know this is real life?"
