Phillies to begin six-game pack ticket sales next Monday

Posted: November 22, 2012

On Monday, Phillies fans can start buying tickets to home games without committing to a full or partial season ticket package.

That's when Six Game Packs let fans can pick a half-dozen games from a list of designated dates. Include one Boston Red Sox game (May 29 or 30), or one fireworks night (July 11 vs. Nationals, July 12 vs. White Sox), or one bobblehead giveaway (Carlos Ruiz on June 4, Cole Hamels on Aug. 21), or two summer weekend games, or skip these and choose six other available dates.

Fan Appreciation Day can be chosen, but not Opening Day. That will be available only through a future drawing, whose online sign-up period is likely to start in mid-December, said John Weber, club vice president for sales and ticket operations.

Fans can purchase the six-packs, with prices ranging from $17 to $47 per seat, by visiting phillies.com, calling 215-463-1000, or stopping by the ticket office near the First Base Gate at Citizens Bank Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Season tickets. Basically, current season ticket holders have first dibs on next season. But in the next few weeks, as spots open up, fans on a waiting list will begin to get their chances, first come, first serve. To get on the list now, sign up at Phillies.com and be ready to deposit $500 for a full-season plan, $250 for a 14- or 17-game plan.

Spring training tickets. On Dec. 12, Three Game Packs go on sale, online only, for exhibition matchups in Clearwater, Fla., with individual games at Bright House Field available starting Jan. 10.

Group ticket sales start Jan. 16. Parties of 25 or more get a $2 discount on most weekday games. Very big groups get better deals. For more info, go to phillies.com, call the sales office at 215-463-5000, or email grouptickets@phillies.com.

Single-game seats go on sale Feb. 12. The real frenzy happens when ticket for individual games go on sale, with fans often lining up early at the ticket windows on the west side of Citizens Bank Park. Tickets will also be available online and by calling 215-463-1000.

In recent years, the club has also made about 500 standing-room-only tickets available at the ballpark, hours before each home game.
