Wed. Pa. football roundup: University City prevails

Junior Robert Hall scored in overtime for his third touchdown, leading University City to a 34-28 win against Mastbaum on Wednesday night in a nonleague football game.

Hall scored on two fumble recoveries, the second with a minute left in regulation to send the game to overtime.

In overtime, the linebacker/running back scored on a 20-yard run for the winning points.

Ronnie Kennedy scored two rushing touchdowns for Mastbaum.

In other nonleague action:

Prep Charter 46, Furness 12 - Sophomore Vion Dolo threw four touchdown passes to lead Prep Charter to the nonleague win.

Dolo's scoring strikes covered 25, 35, 32, and 31 yards, with Ronald Stokes and John Graham receiving two each. Jovan Matthews added two rushing touchdowns for the Huskies.

Imhotep Charter 58, Boys' Latin 8 - Senior running back Eerin Young showed off his versatility by scoring three times - on a run, on a kick return, and on a pass reception.

The Imhotep defense added two scores, a safety in the first half and a Najee Goode fumble recovery in the second half.
