New lineup on WIP AM
Giants running back-turned-sportscaster Tiki Barber will co-host a new CBS Radio show with Brandon Tierney and Dana Jacobson that debuts Jan. 2 on 610 WIP. Angelo Cataldi's morning show will still be heard on 94 WIP, but this new program will take over the AM frequency from 6 to 9 a.m., followed by John Feinstein from 9 a.m. to noon, Jim Rome from noon to 3 p.m. weekdays and Doug Gottlieb from 3 to 6 p.m. Live sports will be on most nights, and Scott Ferrall, and his irritating voice, will be heard 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Damon Amendolara hosts 2 to 6 a.m.
CBS Radio Philadelphia market manager Marc Rayfield says Tierney had previously been a "person of interest" in the search for someone to host the afternoon drive time at WIP. Rayfield also spoke highly of Barber. "We think this will be a great alternative for those who prefer a national perspective on sports," he said.
