Annette Dark Horton, 58, of West Oak Lane, an administrator at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, died Saturday, Nov. 24, of anemia at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Horton was clinical manager of the respiratory therapy department at St. Christopher's, where she had been on the staff for 26 years.

Born in North Carolina, Mrs. Horton grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Olney High School. After graduating from the James Martin School of Respiratory Care, she became a respiratory therapist at St. Christopher's.

In 1970, she married John Horton. They had three children before divorcing.

Mrs. Horton enjoyed exercising, dancing, and spending time with her family. She vacationed with her grandchildren at Walt Disney World and loved swimming with them in the ocean in Brigantine, N.J., her daughter, Cheryl Horton-Oaks, said.

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Horton is survived by her mother, Rose Woods; sons Quentin and Kyle; eight grandchildren; and her former husband.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Mount Airy Church of God in Christ, 6401 Ogontz Ave. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Feasterville.
