Each word became more intense and rapid as Bryant Jennings rolled through his victory rap Saturday night. A dozen family members and friends stood behind him and listened silently.
"I'm never scared. I'm everywhere. They aren't ever there," said Jennings. "Come on. Why would I ever care. Pound-for-pound, one of the best to ever come around here."
Instead of calling out his next opponent, Jennings chose to freestyle rap after knocking out Bowie Topou in the fifth round to successfully defend his USBA heavyweight title at Temple's McGonigle Hall. The win improved Jennings to 16-0 with eight KOs.
