THE SACRAMENTO Kings indefinitely suspended their big-mouthed center DeMarcus Cousins on Saturday. Usually that means for a few games. Remember when the Eagles indefinitely suspended Terrell Owens? He never wore green again.
Cousins, the 6-11, 270-pound talented bundle of immaturity, ripped into his coach, Keith Smart, during halftime of the Kings' loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. Smart told the demonstrative Cousins to spend the rest of the night in the locker room. And on Saturday, the team announced the suspension.
Good move by the Kings. The kid needs to be accountable for his actions. He has been suspended four times in the last year.
