St. Alban's Railroad Open House 2012 Modular layout fills 4,000-square-foot area with 200 feet of 4-track mainline with working signals, 3 branch lines, steel mill, coke plant, oil refinery, and three working classification yards. There will be a custom waybill system for freight and passenger operations that routes more than 900 pieces of equipment throughout the system. A large variety of roads and eras will be featured. The layout is controlled by DCC with computer enhancement. Thomas the Tank engine and friends run here for kids. St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 3625 Chapel Rd., Newtown Square. www.StARR-MRC.org.
