McNabb on winning
The Eagles' struggles in recent years have made Donovan McNabb's career in Philadelphia look better. The Eagles haven't won a playoff game since the 2008 season. McNabb won playoff games in six of seven postseasons and reached the NFC championship game five times.
"Making it to the NFC championship is not easy, and I think [Eagles fans are] starting to see that right now," McNabb told Comcast SportsNet.
He added: "There are teams right now who have winning records, like the Atlanta Falcons, they've done it for so many years, and they get to the playoffs and all of a sudden they're one-and-done."
Injuries
The Eagles said defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and linebacker Mychal Kendricks have been ruled out of Sunday's game because of concussions. Tight end Evan Moore is doubtful with back spasms. Running back Chris Polk is questionable with a toe injury. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is probable; he practiced after sitting out Thursday with a knee injury. . . . Akeem Jordan will start at linebacker in Kendricks' place and Derek Landri will start at defensive tackle in Cox's place. Emil Igwenagu will be the No. 2 tight end if Moore cannot play.
