By car, wagon, or horse-drawn carriage, enjoy an illuminated spectacular this weekend at Shadybrook Farms' 18th annual Holiday Light Show, presented by Peco.

The show, which begins nightly at 5 o'clock through Sunday, spans two miles in Yardley. Attendees can see illuminations of historical and mythical characters, places, and things, including the Statue of Liberty, the Grinch, the 12 Days of Christmas, Under the Sea featuring an 80-foot-long aquarium sea wall, the Peco building, and more.

After the light show, families can stop for a bonfire by the Animated Tree of Hope at the farm market. S'mores and snacks will be available for purchase.


Shadybrook Farms' 18th annual Holiday Light Show, presented by Peco, 5 to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Shadybrook Farms, 931 Stony Hill Rd, Yardley. Admission is $25 per carload; horse-drawn carriage and wagon rides are $12 per person. Show is rain or shine. Wagon and horse- drawn rides are offered weather permitting and are first-come, first-served. Information: 215-968-1670

Gustafer Yellowgold at World Cafe Live

Kids can meet the friendly alien from the sun, Gustafer Yellowgold, on Saturday at World Cafe Live.

The multimedia, storytelling concert sung by the character's creator, Morgan Taylor, will highlight Gustafer's exploratory life on Earth, as Taylor sings to a video of his animated illustrations. The show, which has been performed around the world, has been described as a hybrid of Dr. Seuss and Yellow Submarine.

'Aladdin: A Musical Panto'

Aladdin: A Musical Panto continues through Sunday at People's Light & Theatre Company in Malvern.

Audiences will go on the comedic journey with Aladdin and his animal friends, who discover a magical lamp. The crew will rescue Princess Mai Tai, soar on a magic carpet, and encounter all kinds of entanglements in their quest to save the village of Paolistein.
