Nick Rolovich backs out of job as Temple's offensive coordinator

Posted: January 10, 2013

Nick Rolovich, who was named Temple's offensive coordinator two weeks ago, decided Wednesday to remain at Nevada.

A Wolf Pack source said Nevada doubled his salary to around $240,000 to remain as offensive coordinator at the Mountain West Conference school. The 33-year-old and his wife are expecting twins. They have two other children.

Rolovich also was going to coach the quarterbacks. He spent this past season at Nevada after four years at Hawaii, including two as the Warriors' offensive coordinator.

Temple hired Jeremy Scott as strength and conditioning coach.

Scott was Penn State's full-time assistant strength and conditioning coach and speed coach for the last 15 years.
