Before the season began, the Maple Shade girls' basketball team suffered a huge setback, losing its center to injury.
Jill Dombrowski hasn't let the fact that she's 5-foot-8 and a guard by trade stop her from stepping into the void.
Embracing her new role as center, Dombrowski recorded a double-double Wednesday as Maple Shade beat host Pennsauken Tech, 51-28, in a nonleague game.
"She'll do anything I ask. All my girls will," coach Jennifer Weldon said. "They're all pretty versatile."
