College Basketball: N.C. State tops No. 1 Duke

C.J. Leslie had 25 points to help No. 20 North Carolina State beat previously-unbeaten, top-ranked Duke, 84-76, on Saturday in Raleigh, N.C.

Richard Howell added 16 points and 18 rebounds for the relentless Wolfpack (14-2, 3-0 ACC).

Seth Curry scored 22 for the Blue Devils (15-1, 2-1).

Mississippi 64, Missouri 49 - Murphy Holloway scored 22 points as the Rebels (13-2, 2-0 SEC) routed the No. 10 Tigers (12-3, 1-1) in Oxford, Miss.

Wisconsin 74, Illinois 51 - Jared Berggren scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Badgers (12-4, 3-0 Big Ten) knocked off the No. 12 Illini (14-4, 1-3) in Madison, Wis.

Louisville 64, South Florida 38 - Peyton Siva scored 17 points as the third-ranked Cardinals (15-1, 3-0 Big East) demolished the Pirates (9-6, 0-3) in Louisville, Ky.

Arizona 80, Oregon State 70 - Solomon Hill had 16 points to help the No. 4 Wildcats (15-1, 3-1 Pac-12) beat the Beavers (10-6, 0-3) in Corvallis, Ore.

Indiana 88, Minnesota 81 - Victor Oladipo had 20 points to lift the No. 5 Hoosiers (15-1, 3-0 Big Ten) over the No. 8 Golden Gophers (15-2, 3-1) in Bloomington, Ind.

Butler 79, Dayton 73 - Roosevelt Jones scored 16 points and the No. 14 Bulldogs (14-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10) won their 11th straight by beating the Flyers (10-6, 0-2) in Dayton, Ohio.

Connecticut 65, Notre Dame 58 - In South Bend, Ind., Shabazz Napier scored 19 points, and the Huskies (12-3, 2-1 Big East) ended a 12-game winning streak by the No. 17 Fighting Irish (14-2, 2-1).

Elsewhere: Kenny Boynton had 20 points as No. 11 Florida (12-2, 2-0 SEC) took a 74-52 win over Louisiana State (9-4, 0-2) in Baton Rouge, La. . . . Shane Southwell made two free throws with 21 seconds left, then blocked Gary Browne's layup to preserve a 65-64 road win for No. 18 Kansas State (13-2, 2-0 Big 12) over West Virginia (8-7, 1-2) in Morgantown. . . . Otto Porter had 19 points and 14 rebounds as No. 19 Georgetown (11-3, 1-2 Big East) got a 67-51 win over St. John's (9-7, 1-3) in New York. . . . Cashmere Wright scored 23 points and No. 21 Cincinnati (14-3, 2-2 Big East) grabbed a 68-58 win over Rutgers (11-4, 2-2) in Piscataway, N.J.

Local games: Malcolm Garrison scored 22 points to lead Eastern (3-12, 1-3 Freedom) to a 70-67 win over King's College (6-9, 1-3) in St. Davids. . . .
