    Marvin Schulte has been named chair of the pharmaceutical-sciences department at University of the Sciences. He had been co-coordinator of the biochemistry and molecular-biology program at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and was co-founder of the University of Alaska Biomedical Research Conference.

Pennsylvania Trust, Radnor, hired Charles T. Lee III as senior vice president. He had been senior relationship manager at Brown Brothers Harriman.  

Echo Therapeutics Inc., a Philadelphia company developing a needle-free glucose-monitoring system, hired Daniel Sunday as vice president of manufacturing and global-supply chain. He had been a plant manager for Animas Corp., a Johnson & Johnson company.

Toll Brothers Inc., the Horsham home builder, has promoted Richard T. Hartman to president and chief operating officer, from executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Weavers Way Community Programs, the nonprofit arm of Weavers Way Co-op, Philadelphia, has hired Jill C. Fink as executive director. She is co-owner and operator of Mugshots Coffeehouse & Café and executive director of the Philadelphia chapter of Back on My Feet.

The Mann, Philadelphia, has promoted Nancy R. Newman to executive vice president, from vice president, institutional advancement. Michael DelBene has been hired as vice president of development. He had been major-gifts officer at the National Constitution Center.

  Gary Prugh has been hired as a real estate adviser in the Real Estate Advisory Services Group of CBIZ MHM L.L.C., Plymouth Meeting. He had been vice president in the equity asset management group at TRECAP Partners.

Sharon K. Barker has been appointed chief executive officer and executive director of Montgomery Early Learning Centers, Narberth. Barker had been interim co-CEO and senior vice president of community impact and development the United Way of Bucks County.  

George J. Walter has been named vice president for enrollment services at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Walter had been associate dean of enrollment management at Villanova University.

Bloom Metz Consulting Inc., Wilmington, has hired Samantha Fruchtman manager of administrative projects. She had been curatorial coordinator at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts in Wilmington.

Stuart, Maue, Mitchell & James Ltd., a St. Louis legal spend-management company, named Andrew Clearfield as its director of business development in the firm's Mount Laurel office. He had been a practicing creditors rights and bankruptcy lawyer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Unequal Technologies, Kennett Square, hired Bart Robertson as chief information officer. He had been senior director of social media, cloud computing and strategy at Microsoft Corp.

Greyhawk, a Moorestown construction project management and consulting firm, announced a restructuring of its corporate leadership. Charles F. Boland has been named chairman of the board. He will continue to be responsible for the management of the firm's construction consulting practice. Charles Caramanna has been promoted to operations manager from regional operations manager, and Ronald C. Kerins Jr., to financial manager from regional manager.

Stockton Real Estate Advisors L.L.C., Philadelphia, hired Jacklyn Crugnale as marketing coordinator. Crugnale had served as an account manager at Johnson Matthey.

Kaiserman Co. Inc., a developer and operator of commercial and residential properties, promoted Homer Robinson to president and CEO from general manager.

Beneficial Bank, Philadelphia, announced several additions to its staff:

Edward Mason has been hired as chief auditor, responsible for the bank's internal-audit function. He had been director of Sarbanes–Oxley Act compliance and regional audit director, Sovereign Bank.

Lara Stefanelli has been hired as vice president, director of compliance and operational risk. She had been director, corporate compliance program and project support, at JPMorgan Chase.

Robert Delany has been hired as senior credit officer. He had been vice president, senior loan officer, with Toronto Dominion Bank, North America

Shane Mitzner has been hired as vice president, loan-workout officer. Mitzner had been vice president, special assets, at Sun National Bank.

John L. Thomas and John S. Frame have been hired as new vice presidents, commercial lending. Thomas had been vice president, senior credit manager, mortgage warehouse lending, for Ally Financial Inc. and JPMorgan Chase Bank, North America. Frame formerly was with TD and Citizens Banks.

Nuvon Inc., a Philadelphia electronic medical records company, named Christopher Gatti chief executive officer. Gatti formerly served as president and chief operating officer for ColdLight Solutions L.L.C., King of Prussia. Stephen Spencer has been appointed vice president, sales and marketing. He had founded and led Advantis Medical Inc. Cathleen Asch has transitioned from CEO to executive vice president of strategic initiatives and remains a board member.

   

Cadient Group Inc., King of Prussia, hired   Amy Cypres as senior account manager. She had been account director at KHJ, Boston.

  

Cozen O'Connor, Philadelphia, has elected Sandra A. Bloch as the firm's general counsel. She has been a member of the firm since 1995. - Mike Zebe
