Women's College Basketball: Temple women's coach Tonya Cardoza gets 100th win

Temple's fifth-year head coach Tonya Cardoza earned the 100th win of her career Sunday as the Owls rallied to win their Atlantic Ten opener, 67-59, over St. Bonaventure in Olean, N.Y.

Victoria Macaulay, who went 4 for 4 from the line in the final 25 seconds to seal the win, had 23 points and 12 rebounds for Temple (7-8, 1-0).

Doris Ortega had 16 points to lead the Bonnies (7-9, 0-1).

Penn State 80, Nebraska 58 - Maggie Lucas (Germantown Academy) had 19 points to give her 1,500 for her college career as the No. 8 Lions (13-2, 3-0 Big Ten) won their seventh straight, thumping the Cornhuskers (12-5, 2-2) in State College, Pa.

Drexel 64, North Carolina-Wilmington 51 - Hollie Mershon (Archbishop Carroll) had 26 points, including six three-pointers, as the Dragons (10-4, 3-0 CAA) beat the host Seahawks (2-12, 1-2).

Delaware 63, Old Dominion 46 - Elena Delle Donne had 28 points and 13 rebounds and the Blue Hens (11-3, 2-0 CAA) cruised past the Monarchs (11-4, 2-1) in Norfolk, Va.

Notre Dame 71, Rutgers 46 - Skylar Diggins scored 15 points to lead the No. 2 Fighting Irish (14-1, 3-0 Big East) in a rout of the Scarlet Knights (9-7, 0-3) in South Bend, Ind.

Baylor 82, Kansas 60 - Brittney Griner had 33 points and seven rebounds, and the top-ranked Bears (14-1, 4-0 Big 12) had little trouble beating the No. 17 Jayhawks (11-4, 2-2) in Lawrence, Kan.

Elsewhere: Elizabeth Williams scored 18 points as No. 4 Duke (15-0, 5-0 ACC) eased to a 73-44 win over Wake Forest (9-7, 2-2) in Winston-Salem, N.C. . . . Gennifer Brandon had 14 points and 12 rebounds and No. 7 California (13-2, 3-1 Pac-12) snapped an 81-game winning streak against conference opponents for fifth-ranked Stanford (14-2, 3-1) with a 67-55 victory in Palo Alto, Calif. . . . DeNesha Stallworth scored 17 points and A'dia Mathies added 14 to help No. 6 Kentucky (16-1, 4-0 SEC) earn a 69-43 victory over Missouri (12-6, 1-3) in Columbia, Mo.
