An early-morning fire Thursday in East Norriton Township claimed the life of an unidentified man, the day after another fire in the township resulted in minor injuries to five people.
The Thursday blaze broke out about 1:45 in a single-family home in the 500 block of Barbara Drive. Fire companies found flames visible from the second floor and through the roof. Another man who lived in the home was able to escape. He was treated at Einstein Hospital, police said.
