A 12-year-old Delaware County student has been arrested for allegedly posting a threat on Facebook indicating he planned to shoot classmates.
The incident occurred Monday night, and the Ridley Middle School student was taken into custody around 6 a.m., officials said.
The student was charged with terroristic threats and unlawful use of a computer. He is being held at the juvenile detention facility in Lima, according to Emily Harris, spokesperson for the District Attorney's office. The boy was not identified.
