COMMUNITY Legal Services is moving from its North Philadelphia office to new quarters at Broad and Erie this month.
The nonprofit law firm, which provides civil legal help for the poor, serves about 14,500 low-income city residents annually.
CLS said that its current offices were not up to par and lacked access for people with disabilities.
With financial backing from the state, city, donors and lenders, CLS was able to build an $8.5 million, 18,500-square-foot building on what had been a vacant lot at 1410 W. Erie Ave.
