Pa. Girls: Lindsay Price paces Radnor past Marple Newtown

Lindsay Price came out sizzling and kept it going en route to a career-high 20 points as host Radnor beat Marple Newtown, 58-46, in a Central League girls' basketball game Monday.

Price, a senior forward, scored 14 points in the first half as Radnor built a 27-21 lead. She also had eight rebounds. Myonie Williamson added 15 points.

Public League. Simon Gratz kept up its strong play of late with a 54-40 win at Martin Luther King. The Bulldogs have won four straight games by double digits.

Sophomore point guard Brinklea Barnes scored eight of her 20 points in the second quarter as the Bulldogs took a 35-15 lead into halftime.

Brianna Jenkins added 10 points, and Tiana Barnett and Niarra Justice each scored eight.

Bicentennial Independence. Kendra Stum's strong all-around game lifted Calvary Christian to a 34-33 victory at MaST Charter. Stum scored 21 points and recorded 13 rebounds and four steals.

Brea Behr led MaST Charter with 17 points, and Maria Farrell scored 10.

Anna Stevens scored 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lift Delco Christian over visiting New Hope, 27-23. Stevens also recorded five steals.

Nonleague. Maimuna Kenneh helped Collegium Charter pull away in the second half to beat Renaissance Academy, 32-20. Kenneh scored six of her 12 in the third quarter.
