Rysheed Jordan, the city's top uncommitted senior, was suspended from the game Tuesday as host Vaux fell to Philadelphia Electrical, 58-51, in Public League Division A boys' basketball.
Hakeem Baxter led PET with 28 points and Dyshon Pack hit a late three.
Jordan is choosing from among Temple, St. John's, and UCLA.
"He's disappointed, but he violated one of our team rules so we couldn't let him play," Vaux coach Jamie Ross said.
