The Musicopia String Orchestra
The Musicopia String Orchestra performs a free concert Saturday at the Church of the Holy Trinity-Rittenhouse.
The orchestra, of youths 7 to 17 from public, private, parochial, and charter schools, will perform beginning at 4 p.m. The Musicopia String Orchestra is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 to serve students in the Philadelphia area who may not have access to cultural opportunities and creative outlets.

John Cassidy: Balloon Freak Show at Sellersville Theater
On Saturday, magician/comedian John Cassidy brings his Balloon Freak Show to the Sellersville Theater.
The fun begins at 1 p.m. when Cassidy will perform weird and outrageous balloon tricks. The audience will get a good laugh from Cassidy in this interactive show. The magician has won Guinness World Records for Most Balloon Sculptures Completed in One Hour and Most Balloon Sculptures Completed in One Minute.

Chinese New Year at Penn Museum
The Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology celebrates the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Snake, on Saturday as part of the museum's World Culture Day.
The celebration, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., includes storytelling, folktale presentations, arts and crafts, demonstrations, music and dance performances, Chinese painting, paper cutting, and more. The Grand Finale: the Lion Parade.
