Women's College Basketball: Elena Delle Donne, Delaware trounce Hofstra, 79-63

Elena Delle Donne scored 35 points as No. 25 Delaware won its 13th straight game, a 79-63 pasting Sunday of visiting Hofstra.

Delle Donne scored 21 first-half points as the Blue Hens (18-3, 9-0 Colonial Athletic Association) broke open a tight game in the final 10 minutes of the half. Her three-pointer at the half made it 46-33.

Delaware's lead grew to 21 points, 56-35, in the opening minutes of the second half. The Pride (9-10, 5-3) never got any closer than 13 points after intermission.

Delle Donne finished the game with 10 baskets on 20 shots, including 4 of 7 from three-point range, and nine rebounds.

George Washington 74, La Salle 57 - The Colonials had five players in double figures and another with 9 points in their hammering of the host Explorers. Guard Ebonee Jones had 21 points to lead the Explorers (7-14, 3-3 Atlantic Ten). George Washington (9-12, 3-4) held La Salle to 32.8 percent shooting from the field.

Drexel 79, Georgia St. 55 - The host Dragons had a big second half, outscoring the Panthers, 46-24, to snap a two-game losing streak. Hollie Mershon had 25 points and Taylor Wootton added 20 for Drexel (14-6, 7-2 CAA). The Panthers fell to 10-10, 2-7.

Missouri 80, Tennessee 63 - In Southeastern Conference action in Columbia, Mo., Morgan Eye scored 26 points in the Tigers' upset of the No. 9 Volunteers. The Tigers (15-8, 4-5) shot 52.7 percent from the field, their best showing in league play this season, and went 11 for 24 on three-point attempts. The Vols fell to 17-5, 8-1.

Georgia 75, Kentucky 71 - Khaalidah Miller scored a career-high 25 points and forced a key turnover with 5 seconds remaining in the 13th-ranked Bulldogs' win over the No. 8 Wildcats. Anne Marie Armstrong and Jasmine James each added 12 points as Georgia (19-3, 7-2 SEC) ended Kentucky's home win streak at 33, sending the Wildcats to 19-3, 7-2.
