Women's College Basketball: Penn women lose to Yale, 65-56, in snowy New Haven

In blizzard-hit New Haven, Conn., Penn's game at Yale was rescheduled several times and finally moved to the Recreation Center.

The Quakers were slow to adapt and a late run fell short as they lost, 65-56, to the Bulldogs (10-7, 3-1 Ivy) on Saturday.

Keiera Ray led Penn (9-9, 2-2) with 13 points.

The Quakers stayed in New Haven Saturday night to drive to Rhode Island for a 5 p.m. Sunday game against Providence.

Rutgers 55, Cincinnati 46 - C. Vivian Stringer earned her 899th coaching win as the Scarlet Knights (14-8, 5-4 Big East) rallied to beat the Bearcats (8-15, 0-10) in Piscataway, N.J.

Monique Oliver had 13 points to lead Rutgers.

Stringer can become the seventh college coach to win 900 games, joining Pat Summitt, Jody Conradt, Sylvia Hatchell, Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, and Bob Knight, with a win at DePaul on Tuesday.

Baylor 75, Texas 48 - Odyssey Sims had 18 points to lead the No. 1 Bears (22-1, 12-0 Big 12) over the Longhorns (9-13, 2-9) in Austin, Texas.

Notre Dame 69, Seton Hall 49 - Ariel Braker scored 15 points to help the second-ranked Fighting Irish (22-1, 10-0 Big East) beat the Pirates (8-15, 3-7) in South Orange, N.J.
