Natalie Egleston, 48, a business executive who grew up in Huntingdon Valley, died Monday, Feb. 4, in a ski accident in Aspen, Colo.

Ms. Egleston was standing on Aspen Mountain when another skier accidentally ran into her, authorities said. She died of a traumatic brain injury.

Ms. Egleston had relocated to Ardmore last year from San Francisco to be close to her family and friends, said her mother, Gwen McAdams.

For seven years, Ms. Egleston worked at Premier Retail Networks (later renamed IZ-ON Media), a firm that creates TV entertainment and advertising for customers in stores such as Walmart and Costco, and rose to the position of chief strategy officer.

She had recently been named president of IZ-ON Media's indoorDIRECT JV Services, a company that specializes in entertainment networks for restaurants.

Ms. Egleston was born in Phoenix and raised in Huntingdon Valley, her mother said.

She graduated from Germantown Academy in Fort Washington in 1982, then got a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from Cornell University.

Ms. Egleston was an outdoors person and an avid skier, learning when she was 5 or 6 years old, her mother said.

It was during a ski trip several years ago that she met her partner, Ron Konsza, an aerospace engineer from Newtown Square.

McAdams said her daughter was intense at work, tried to mentor people, and cared deeply for her friends.

In addition to her mother and her partner, Ms. Egleston is survived by her stepfather, Richard McAdams; her father, Roger Egleston; her stepmother, Louisa; a sister; and a brother.

A life celebration is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Craft-Givnish of Abington, 1801 Old York Rd., and for 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Rd., Abington, followed by a funeral at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ms. Egleston's name to the National Ski Patrol/Skier Safety Education Program and sent to National Ski Patrol, 133 S. Van Gordon St., Suite 100, Lakewood, Colo., or via the Internet at
