One dead, one injured in Logan double shooting

Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting early Sunday in the Logan section that left one man dead and another injured.

A 37-year-old male who was found on the 1400 block of West Loudon Street with a single gunshot wound to the chest was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. at Einstein Medical Center, police said. The victim's identity has not been released.

The second victim, a 33-year-old male who was shot once in the stomach was in critical condition at Einstein, police said.

Witnesses discovered the two victims on the street and transported them to the hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
