TWO FATAL ONE-CAR crashes in the area were being investigated over the weekend.

Camden County authorities said four teenagers from Philadelphia were in a car that flipped from an overpass just after 9 p.m. Saturday on Route 73 at Hylton Road in Pennsauken.

A 15-year-old boy thrown from the car was pronounced dead at Cooper University Hospital. Three others were taken to nearby hospitals, where their conditions were not available Sunday.

Pennsauken police did not release the name of the boy who died. The three other passengers were between 13 and 19 years old, 6 ABC reported.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia police were investigating a fatal accident in Bustleton early Sunday.

Police said a 1995 Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on Grant Avenue about 3:45 a.m. when the driver lost control and went over the curb near Krewstown Avenue, crossing into the westbound lanes. The vehicle continued traveling before hitting another curb and striking a tree.

A female passenger was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19-year-old driver was partially ejected and was taken to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital, where he was listed in extremely critical condition.

Police did not release the names of the victims. The passenger was estimated to be in her late teens or early 20s.
